YSEM

Abstract
It's a common problem, during a live performance, the need to do more actions simultaneously.
An instance could be a guitarist that, at a precise moment during an execution of a song, would like to modify his overdrive preset and to turn on his compressor and some other effects at the same time, expecting in all probability that his bass player does something like that at the same instant.
YSEM,
acronym of Yielding System for Events Matrix, not only allows to do this with just a unique action, but makes also possible to make a transition between two 'states' in a
prefixed time through a linear interpolation of any available parameters. In the above mentioned instance, the transition between the first and the second "sound" could
happen exactly in 30 seconds, still caused by a single event.
Regarding classical timeline that appears in any commercial music software, where events happen at a prefixed time, in YSEM everything occurs after a human event and follows dinamically all the irregularities that a human performance involves.
So, this is a software conceived to be used in live situations. It aims to make simple any operations and interactions that a musician should handle during an execution of a song.
YSEM is also a VST-host. That means it allows to import plug-ins in Steinberg VST format. It contains also a built-in audio sampler and a looper and it displays graphics of real-time processed signal.
It is a stand-alone application which works for both Mac OSX (PPC and Intel versions) and Windows XP operative systems.
