The Prepared Theremin is a project developed over the last 3 years for the italian artist Massimo Simonini.
It consists in using the theremin as an interface for controlling various synthesis techniques, such as CAAC, granular synthesis, phase vocoding and live sampling. The interface has been bespoken to fit into a 7 inches touchscreen attached to the theremin stem.
